We’re looking for an Innovation Portfolio Manager to join our UK team and guide the coordination and governance of our innovation and growth portfolio. This role is based at Citigen (London) and offers flexible hybrid working.

UK Innovation Portfolio Manager
Responsibilities
* Design and nurture a governance process for innovation and growth, with a collaborative approach to portfolio management.
* Introduce a new portfolio management platform and create KPIs and prioritisation frameworks aligned with UK strategy.
* Facilitate quarterly portfolio reviews, bringing people together to share progress and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
* Plan ahead for resource needs (people, financial, and support), identify gaps, and ensure they’re addressed in a timely way.
* Support quarterly governance meetings at UK Board level, highlighting key decisions and shared priorities.
* Continuously refine the innovation and growth governance model as needs evolve.
* Build positive, collaborative relationships across the UK business, including Digital Technology, Commercial Services, Energy Infrastructure Solutions, E.ON Next and Industrial & Commercial teams.
What we need from you
* Experience in portfolio management within a complex, collaborative environment — ideally with innovation or change portfolios.
* Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to bring people together and create shared understanding.
* Familiarity with innovation processes such as Agile working and Rapid Assumption Testing.
* A solutions-focused mindset, with creativity and adaptability.
* Excellent analytical skills, commercial awareness, and attention to detail.
* Knowledge and experience in the energy sector or a related industry.
Nice to have
* Experience implementing portfolio management platforms or governance frameworks.
* Understanding of strategic prioritisation processes at a senior level.
