Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to broaden our engineering capabilities – you will be responsible for interpreting and analysing complex data sets to drive business decisions and enhance operational efficiency. Our ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, capable of transforming raw data into actionable insights that can influence strategic direction.


As a Data Analyst, you will collaborate closely with various departments, leveraging advanced statistical techniques and tools to provide in-depth reports and forecasts. Your contributions will play a crucial role in understanding market trends, customer behaviours, and overall performance metrics which enable our company to stay ahead of the competition. This position demands not only good technical capabilities but also excellent communication skills, as you will present findings to stakeholders and guide them in implementing data-driven strategies.


Requirements

The ideal person for this role will have previous experience covering the collection, analysis and processing of data, data from various sources to identify trends and patterns, with the ability develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs). You will be required to collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support, use statistical methods to solve problems and improve processes across our group while continuing to ensure data integrity and accuracy by regularly validating and cleaning sets.

* Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
* Strong proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
* Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation.
* Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and their application in a business context.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information succinctly.
