SANZA Teaching Agency are working with a high-achieving, creative and exceptionally well-led 3-form entry Primary School in Southwark who are seeking an experienced Phonics Intervention Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant team. This role is ideal for someone with strong Read Write Inc experience OR Jolly Phonics and a genuine passion for helping children make rapid progress in early reading.

About the Role - Phonics Intervention Teaching Assistant
The school is seeking a passionate practitioner to deliver targeted phonics support across EYFS and KS1.
Your role will include:
Delivering Read Write Inc (RWI) interventions to individual pupils and small groups
Supporting pupils who require additional help with early reading, blending, segmenting and decoding
Tracking progress and feeding back to class teachers and the phonics lead
Working closely with experienced teachers, parallel year groups and the school's literacy coordinator
Helping maintain the school's strong reading culture
Ensuring sessions are engaging, structured and well-paced
Supporting class-based learning xsngvjr when required
Creating an encouraging and motivating environment for all learners
The School is Looking For Someone Who:
Has Read Write Inc (RWI) training and experience (essential)
Is passionate about improving literacy and early reading outcomes
Has experience working as a TA, LSA or Intervention Tutor
Can build strong relationships with children and staff
Has excellent communication skills
Brings positivity, energy and a child-centred approach
Can commit to the role full-time and long-term
