Protocol Education is working with secondary schools across Middlesbrough to recruit a Business Studies Teacher to deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4. This role is suitable for QTS-qualified teachers, ECTs, and experienced cover supervisors or teaching assistants with strong Business Studies subject knowledge.
The Role:
* Deliver engaging and well-structured Business Studies lessons, covering key topics such as enterprise, finance, marketing, and economics.
* Provide effective classroom cover when required.
* Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students.
* Maintain strong behaviour management and a positive learning environment.
* Support students in developing analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Holds QTS or has relevant classroom experience in Business Studies (teachers, cover supervisors, or TA cover).
* Confident teaching Business Studies across KS3–KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential).
* Strong subject knowledge and the ability to link learning to real‑world business contexts.
* Reliable, adaptable, and proactive.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
