The hotel offers both activity and relaxation options in stunning surroundings, including activities like Segways, Crossbows, Archery, High Ropes Aerial Challenge, Gladiator Challenge, Leap of Faith, Low Ropes Course with Zip Wire, Laser Clay, Monster Trucks, Bala's Escape rooms, Cyber Tag, and a luxurious Spa overlooking Llyn Tegid towards the Arenig mountain.
Job Description
At a Glance:
* Salary: £12.40 per hour
* Contract type: Permanent
* Working pattern: 37.5 hours per week, with earliest start at 8:30 am and latest finish at 8:15 pm, including alternate weekends
* Location: Bala Lake Hotel, North Wales
As a Hotel Receptionist, you'll manage the reception area, deliver a first-class guest experience, and handle administrative tasks for the hotel and Partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing bookings for hotel stays, spa treatments, and activities (location dependent).
* Facilitating check-in/check-out procedures and addressing guest queries or complaints.
* Acting as a brand ambassador and upselling memberships/events.
* Delivering excellent guest service.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in a customer-facing role.
* Good numeracy and computer skills.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Knowledge of hotel operations.
The working hours are 37.5 per week, with shifts starting from 8:30 am to 8:15 pm, on alternate weekends.
