Job Overview
Due to continued growth, we are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for full-time, ongoing work based in Newton-le-Willows. Youll be responsible for delivering goods nationwide while ensuring all legal and safety regulations are met.
Key Responsibilities
Complete timely and professional deliveries and collections across the UK.
Secure all loads safely and follow strapping procedures.
Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
Communicate effectively with the transport office regarding delays or issues.
Maintain a high standard of customer service at all times.
Requirements
Valid LGV C+E licence with a current CPC and Digi Tacho card .
Minimum 2 years UK Class 1 driving experience .
Good knowledge of EU drivers hours and regulations.
No more than 6 points on licence and no major endorsements (e.g., DR10, IN10, TT99, CD10, CU80).
Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to complete paperwork accurately and efficiently.
A proactive, "can-do" attitude and professional approach.
