About the Department
The Dermatology Department at Royal Cornwall Hospital is recognized for its innovative approaches, including super clinics for complex cases, teledermatology through the ISLA app, and an award-winning Quality in Care approach to our Patient Care Pathway. The department is dedicated to maintaining the highest clinical standards in the management of Dermatology patients.
Job Responsibilities
1. Share responsibility with colleagues for the day-to-day management of the Dermatology Department.
2. Teach and train junior staff and medical students where applicable.
3. Ensure active participation in continuing medical education (CME).
4. Participate in departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and Audit.
5. Attend meetings as appropriate.
6. Fulfill duties of weekly timetable including acute work.
