Teaching Personnel is seeking passionate and innovative Design & Technology Teachers to support secondary schools across South Shields from September 2026.

Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and high-quality Design & Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Encourage creativity, innovation, and practical problem‑solving skills
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students can thrive
* Support students in developing confidence, independence, and resilience
* Adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of learning needs
* Contribute positively to the wider school community
Qualifications
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
* Have experience teaching Design & Technology within a secondary school setting
* Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills
* Build strong, professional relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
* Are committed to safeguarding, student wellbeing, and high behavioural expectations
* Bring enthusiasm, creativity, and energy into the classroom every day
