As an Assembly Operator you will perform assembly work within a manufacturing environment of hydraulic pumps and/or motors. A suitably competent individual demonstrating a consistent high standard of work to ensure quality of products is maintained.
Maintain a high quality of work, fully cooperating with the Manufacturing team and adhering to work procedures.
Duties
* Assemble hydraulic pumps and/or motors in accordance with the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Ensure all products are assembled in accordance with the company’s quality and health and safety specifications.
* Test hydraulic units to customer-specific specifications (subject to specific training).
* Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.
* Responsible for achieving hourly production targets.
* Ensure production controls are adhered to.
* Understand KPIs and achieve production targets.
* Communicate breakdowns or machine abnormalities to supervision and maintenance; log breakdowns in the main database.
* Maintain good 5S standards within your area of work and look for methods for continuous improvements.
* Exhibit flexibility to support production.
* Perform daily checks in accordance with the company’s production engineering and quality procedures.
* Working 0600-1400 & 1400-2200 Mon to Fri.
