Job Title: Civil Litigation Solicitor Salary: £30,000 to £45,000 Location: Kirkby-in-Ashfield Contract: Full Time, Permanent Overview: Our client is an established and well-regarded multi-service law firm with a strong reputation throughout the Nottinghamshire region. Due to continued growth, the firm is now looking to recruit a Civil Litigation Solicitor to join its disputes team. The firm undertakes a wide range of traditional civil litigation work for individuals and businesses, including commercial disputes and contentious probate matters, supported by long-standing client relationships across the region. Position: The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload of traditional civil litigation matters, including contract disputes, debt recovery, landlord and tenant issues, boundary disputes, neighbour disputes and claims arising from the purchase and sale of goods. The role will also include exposure to commercial disputes and contentious probate work, offering a broad and interesting mix of litigation. You will manage matters from initial instruction through to resolution, with an appropriate level of supervision depending on experience. The role will involve drafting a wide range of legal documents including correspondence, pleadings, witness statements and court applications, as well as conducting legal research and analysis. You will have regular and direct contact with clients, requiring a clear, pragmatic and client-focused approach, alongside interaction with counsel, experts and the courts. The position also includes preparing court bundles, managing deadlines and maintaining accurate and well-organised files.
