Job Title: Medical Laboratory Assistant Banding: Band 3 Location: Chelmsford, Essex Hours: 09:00 - 17:00, Monday - Friday Start Date: ASAP Rate: £15 - £16 per hour Duration: 3 months We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our esteemed client in Chelmsford. This role involves supporting biomedical scientists in laboratory operations, ensuring the accurate processing and analysis of samples. Your expertise will be essential in sample preparation, data entry, and maintaining laboratory equipment, contributing to the smooth functioning of the department. Key Responsibilities As a Medical Laboratory Assistant, you will be responsible for receiving, sorting, and labeling samples, ensuring they are processed efficiently. You will assist in preparing chemical solutions, operating laboratory equipment, and maintaining accurate records of test results. Additionally, you will support quality control procedures, adhere to health and safety regulations, and ensure compliance with laboratory protocols. Qualifications & Experience Relevant laboratory experience (preferred). GCSEs in Science, Math, and English (or equivalent). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
