Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday hours per week)
Dates: asap - 2 months (Temporary Contract, will be reviewed after 2 months)
Pay Rate: between £33 to £38/hr PAYE or umbrella (no limitedpanies)Your new role
1. Undertake physical and mental health assessments for service users and ensure appropriate sign posting/referral to primary care or appropriate secondary health care services for identified health issues.
2. To undertake Nurse Alcohol Assessments and determine safe detoxification
3. Assist in the titration process for opiate service users.
4. To provide screening for BBV, through dry blood spot testing and support to access Hep C treatment
5. Offer wound care assessment and basic wound dressing to service users.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
6. Current NMC registration
7. Sound and demonstrable knowledge of harm reduction and health promotion interventions
8. Previous experience in a Substance Misuse Nurse role in a Drug Treatment service, Forensic or Prison.
9. Strongmunication and teamwork skills.
