We’re recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a well-established, family-run business operating within the specialist machinery sector. This is a field-based role covering customer sites across the UK, offering plenty of overtime, specialist training, and genuine progression opportunities for the right person.
This opportunity would suit someone from a background such as heavy plant, HGV, agricultural, recycling equipment, specialist vehicles, ex-forces, or similar heavy machinery environments.
The Role Service, maintain and repair specialist machinery at customer sites across the UK Diagnose faults across mechanical, hydraulic and pump systems, with some basic electrical work involved Carry out planned servicing, reactive breakdown support and general fault-finding Represent the business professionally on customer sites Travel regularly as part of a field-based engineering role
What We’re Looking For Good understanding of heavy machinery Strong mechanical mindset with experience fault-finding and repairing equipment Comfortable in a field-based position with regular travel Good attitude and willingness to learn Someone who comes across well and fits into a close-knit team Full UK driving licence Engineers at an earlier stage in their career will also be considered, provided they have the right attitude, solid foundations, and are keen to develop.

Please note: this role involves working on specialist drainage-related machinery, so candidates should be comfortable working within that type of environment.
