Royal Sussex County Hospital - Imaging Department
The opportunity has arisen to recruit Band 3 HCAs to join our friendly team in the Interventional Radiology Department in Imaging.
We Have 3 Band 3 Roles
* Interventional Radiology at Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton.
* Radiology General (covering CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy) at Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton.
* CT Department at Princess Royal Hospital, Haywards Heath.
You will be required to assist qualified nurses, radiographers, and radiologists in providing high-quality patient care and support the team in the smooth running of the department. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, maintaining professionalism and compassion. You must have experience in coordinating lists, clinics, and procedure planning, and be comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams. Good IT skills and the ability to learn new specialty-specific systems are essential.
Previous experience in a Radiology Department is desirable but not essential.
Full-time 37.5 hrs/wk, between 08:00 to 18:00, including late shifts (12:00 to 20:00) and weekends. Shifts are typically 7.5 or 9.5 hours depending on your pattern.
* Actively participate as a member of the nursing team, contributing to the efficient operation of Ultrasound and Interventional Radiology areas.
* Assist nurses, sonographers, and radiologists in delivering personalized patient care and managing patient flow effectively.
* Provide excellent service to patients with respect and compassion, supported by effective communication and customer care skills.
