We have partnered with a leading independent industrial processing and manufacturing company in the heart of the west midlands who are currently recruiting for an Electrical & Instrumentation Manager to lead their highly-skilled electrical and instrumentation teams.
Electrical & Instrumentation Manager
Key Responsibilities
* Managing & leading a team of Electrical & Instrumentation Engineers, as well as contractors (where applicable)
* Taking ownership of the design, specification and installation of electrical and instrumentation project work, namely the introduction of new equipment
* Managing project budgets
* Taking responsibility development, deployment and operation of all electrical and instrumentation maintenance systems & procedures
Electrical & Instrumentation Manager
Skills/Experience
* Qualified to HNC/HND level in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Instrumentation & Control Systems as a minimum
* Sound understanding of ATEX, COMAH or high-hazardous classification areas
* Ideally 5+ years in a supervisory/management capacity within an electrical engineering, automation or instrumentation background
* An understanding of functional safety within an industrial, process driven environment
* Expert knowledge in PLC & HMI programming
