Job Purpose
As a Support Worker at KPR Care, you will play a vital role in promoting the wellbeing, independence, and personal development of the individuals in our care. You will offer emotional and practical support tailored to individual needs, working in line with support plans, safeguarding principles, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day emotional and practical support to service users in line with their support plans.
Promote independence, life skills, and community integration.
Encourage and support service users to attend education, training, employment, or recreational activities.
Maintain accurate and timely records, including daily logs, incident reports, and risk assessments.
Support with budgeting, meal preparation, shopping, and household tasks where required.
Build trusting, professional relationships with service users, promoting dignity, respect, and choice.
Contribute to reviews, planning meetings, and goal setting with key professionals and the service user.
Follow safeguarding, confidentiality, health & safety, and lone working policies at all times.
Respond to emergencies and incidents appropriately and in line with training.
Engage in regular supervision, training, and development to maintain high-quality support practice.
