Job Summary

Responsibilities
In this role, you will be a key member of the Facility Support Services management team, responsible for delivering frontline catering, building cleaning, and facilities services across your designated geographical area. You will ensure services are consistently delivered to a high standard while meeting operational, customer, and service user expectations.
Requirements & Qualifications
You will hold an HND (or equivalent) in a relevant subject, or be working towards one.
You will be an excellent communicator, capable of managing multiple and changing priorities within a fast-paced environment, and able to remain calm under pressure.
The successful candidate will have significant management or supervisory experience within a facilities management environment and a strong customer-focused approach. You will have proven experience in managing budgets and resources, as well as handling a range of HR responsibilities including recruitment, retention, staff motivation, and absence management.
You must be highly organized, able to prioritize effectively, solve problems confidently, and lead, motivate, and support your team.
The ability to build effective networks and guide others is essential. Previous experience in training staff would be advantageous.
A sound understanding of relevant legislation, particularly in relation to Health & Safety, school meals, and catering, is essential.
You must also be willing and able to travel throughout North Lanarkshire.
Work pattern
35 hours per week – Monday – Thursday: 08:45am – 16:45pm (including a 55 minute unpaid break)
Friday: 08:45am – 16:15pm (including a 50 minute unpaid break)

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip. You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
