The Opportunity Were looking for a reliable, self-motivated Service Engineer to join our UK team. Youll play a key role in supporting our customers, working hands-on with cutting-edge packaging and mailing machinery. From installations and maintenance to training and support, this is a diverse and rewarding front-line position. As part of a small and agile team, your contribution will be visible, valued, and impactful with future growth opportunities ahead. Key Responsibilities Carry out preventative maintenance according to schedule Diagnose and resolve issues on electrical, mechanical, and control systems Deliver training and support to customer staff Install and modify machinery to high standards Manage on-site parts and complete service documentation Maintain excellent customer relationships and provide remote support Participate in continuous improvement (LEAN, engineering changes, etc.) Represent CMC professionally and uphold company values at all times Be flexible with working hours, including weekend rotation and overnight stays What Were Looking For Essential: Recognised Level 3 qualification (or higher) in electrical or mechanical engineering Strong awareness of health and safety practices Familiarity with automated machinery and control systems Solid IT skills (Microsoft Office) Full UK driving licence Desirable: Experience in mailing or packaging automation Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings Skilled at diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues Excellent communication and customer service skills Our Vision Advancing Logistics Automation to Make Global Supply Chains More Sustainable.
