Shift Maintenance Engineer - Belfast / Lisburn Area
Electrical Bias
Our client is a global manufacturer supplying products worldwide.
We are recruiting a Shift Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) who will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment, based at their site close to Belfast and Lisburn.
Shift pattern is continental 2 week days and 2 week nights, with a starting salary at over £48k later rising to £51k. Additional overtime is paid at 1.5 rate.
Responsibilities
* Planned and reactive maintenance on production plant and equipment.
* Respond to breakdowns and resolve faults quickly.
* Continuous improvement and machine upgrades.
* Work across electrical and mechanical systems, including PLC's, motors, drives, robotics.
* Work as part of a maintenance team to minimise downtime and maximise performance.
* Record maintenance logs as required.
* Work in line with company policy and health & safety.
Qualifications
* Level 3 apprenticeship in Engineering, Mechatronic or Electrical.
* Strong Electrical knowledge of industrial electrical systems.
* Maintenance experience in a manufacturing/ production setting.
* Multi-skilled across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
* Preferable to have knowledge of PLC's, controls and robotics.
