Payroll Manager - East Croydon - Leading Property Management Brand\n\nAre you a highly motivated and experienced Payroll professional with a passion for accuracy and a knack for managing a team?\n\nOur market leading and well established Property Management company is recruiting for a Payroll Manager to join our growing team in East Croydon.\n\nOur company specialises in managing blocks of flats and offers a range of related services including insurance broking, lettings management, surveying, company secretarial, and concierge services. We have a strong track record of success and are committed to providing exceptional service to our clients.\n\nThe Role:\n\nAs Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for multiple companies within our group, encompassing over 450 employees, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nAccurately process payrolls for multiple companies using Sage 50 Payroll.\nMonthly posting of payroll journals into Sage 200.\nEnsure accurate calculation of payments and deductions for PAYE, TAX, NIC, SMP, SSP, and other benefits.\nManage auto enrollment pension processes and contributions.\nReconcile balance sheets and P&Ls related to payroll.\nPrepare monthly and quarterly salary recharge invoices.\nLiaise with the HR department on employee onboarding, holiday, and sick leave.\nSupport the strategic acquisition policy by integrating payroll systems and processes for newly acquired entities.\nMentor, coach, and appraise direct reports.\nAssist with annual staff cost budgets and the annual audit process.\nManage company benefits, including eye care, childcare vouchers, season ticket loans, and Enjoy Benefit deductions.\nSkills and Experience:\n\nEssential:\n\n* Payroll qualifications and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience.\n * Strong understanding of statutory requirements, including pension reforms.\n * Proven team management skills.\n * Experience in accounting.\n * Excellent Microsoft skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).\n * Experience with Sage 50 Payroll.\n\nDesirable:\n\n* Experience with Sage 200 Accounts.\n\n* CIPP qualification\n\nPersonal Attributes:\n\nAttention to detail.\nAbility to work well under pressure.\nInitiative and problem-solving skills.\nTeam player.\nAdaptable to change.\nBenefits:\n\nWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a bonus scheme.\n\nTo Apply:\n\nIf you are a highly skilled and motivated Payroll Manager with a passion for accuracy and a desire to join a growing and dynamic organisation, we encourage you to apply.
