Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Liverpool for a Graduate Environmental Health Officer. The role involves conducting inspections, investigations, and assessments in line with environmental health regulations. You will provide advice and guidance to businesses and communities on health, safety, and environmental standards. Monitoring compliance, preparing reports, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure public health and safety standards are maintained will be integral to your day-to-day responsibilities. Qualifications Strong understanding of Environmental Health regulations and principles, including public health and safety practices. Skills in inspections, risk assessment, and analyzing data to develop effective environment-related strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to provide clear guidance to businesses and the community. Problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail to address issues effectively and accurately. Ability to work collaboratively, manage workloads efficiently, and adhere to deadlines within a professional environment. Bachelor’s degree or recognized qualification in Environmental Health or a related field (a candidate must meet criteria for Graduate Environmental Health Officer).
