We’re looking for a Finance Assistant to join our Finance team. This role reports to the Financial Controller and supports the team in ensuring day-to-day financial operations run smoothly and accurately. Purpose and impact - Part of a team that supports real-world services and improves patients lives The Role This is a hands-on role within a supportive and professional finance team. Your work will help ensure financial records are accurate, up to date, and well-controlled. Your responsibilities will include: Processing supplier invoices and ensuring accurate coding to the general ledger Preparing regular payment runs Processing employee expenses and credit card reconciliations Raising customer invoices, including subscription billing Allocating receipts and supporting revenue share arrangements D ebt collection and escalating issues where Performing regular bank reconciliations Supporting month-end reconciliations and journals Assisting with audit documentation and responding to supplier queries The role offers a balance of routine financial processing and exposure to wider finance activities, with opportunities to develop further over time. About You You may already have experience working in a fast-paced finance environment and be looking to continue building your skills. You’ll bring: Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Good Excel and general IT literacy Clear communication skills The ability to manage workload and meet deadlines An AAT qualification (Level 2–4) would be beneficial but is not essential. Working Pattern This is a hybrid role with three days in the Bristol office t o collaborate with the wider Finance and business teams.
