Our client is seeking an experienced and compassionate SENCO to join a well-established independent school in Salisbury. This is a key role within the school, offering the opportunity to lead and further develop SEND provision in a calm, supportive environment with small class sizes and strong pastoral care.

The Role
* Leading SEND provision across the school
* Overseeing EHCP processes, reviews, and statutory requirements
* Coordinating interventions and support strategies for pupils with additional needs
* Working closely with teaching staff, senior leaders, parents, and external agencies
* Advising and supporting staff on inclusive classroom practice
* Monitoring pupil progress and contributing to whole-school improvement
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* NASENCO qualification (or willingness to complete if not already held)
* Experience supporting pupils with SEND in a school setting
* Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and EHCP processes
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A calm, professional, and pupil-centred approach
