The Role We are recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our engineering team, supporting the statutory examination, maintenance, repair and installation of a wide range of electrical equipment. Key Responsibilities: Carry out routine electrical maintenance and inspections to maximise plant availabilityRespond to breakdowns, diagnosing faults quickly to minimise downtimeFault find on a wide range of electrical equipment across underground plant and machineryComplete electrical installations and modifications in line with industry and statutory standardsProvide electrical cover for shaft and surface operations as requiredUndertake cross-skilled tasks including rigging, burning and welding where necessaryMaintain high housekeeping standards and safe systems of work at all timesEnsure full compliance with statutory regulations and company proceduresSupport environmental, health and safety initiatives and continuous improvement activities The Ideal Candidate You will be a time-served Electrical Maintenance Technician with a strong background in heavy industrial or mining environments. Comfortable working under pressure, you will have excellent fault-finding skills and a proactive approach to safety, reliability and continuous improvement.
