Chief Commercial Officer\n\nLocation: Croydon or home based with travel to other HCML offices\n\nSalary: Competitive, with equity and performance based incentives\n\nDeadline for applications is 1st May\n\nWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to join HCML's leadership team in the health and wellbeing sector. The CCO will play a crucial role in driving the commercial strategy of the organization, leading business development, sales, and marketing efforts to ensure sustained growth, profitability, and a strong market position. The role will also develop and manage HCML's customer propositions.\n\nAs a key member of the executive team, the CCO will work closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to establish strategic business goals, identify new revenue opportunities, and build long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
This role requires an individual who is passionate about improving health and wellbeing outcomes, is highly strategic, and has a proven track record in delivering commercial success within the healthcare, wellness, or related sectors.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nStrategic Leadership & Commercial Vision:\n\no Lead the development and execution of the company's commercial strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall business goals and vision.\n\no Drive innovation and identify new commercial opportunities within the health and wellbeing market, including potential product/service offerings, partnerships, and acquisitions.\n\nSales & Business Development:\n\nOversee and manage all commercial operations, including sales, pricing, business development, marketing, and customer engagement.\nDevelop and execute strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth across multiple channels.\nDevelop and maintain HCML's customer propositions to ensure they remain industry leading.\nBuild and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners to enhance brand visibility and market penetration.Marketing & Brand Strategy:\n\nEnsure that marketing efforts align with commercial objectives and reflect the company's mission, values, and customer-centric approach.\nPromote a consistent and compelling brand message across all customer touchpoints.Financial Management & Performance:\n\nDevelop and manage commercial budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and meeting revenue goals.Leadership & Team Management:\n\nLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing commercial team across sales, business development, and marketing functions.Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting:\n\nAct as a senior representative of the company in key industry events, conferences, and forums.\nManage relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, industry influencers, and regulatory bodies.\n\n Company Benefits \n\n25 days annual leave\nYour birthday off\n6% company pension contribution\nBike to Work Scheme\nMedicash Health plan\nEnhanced Maternity/Paternity/Adoption and Shared Parental leave\n2 voluntary days per year\nLong Service Awards\nEmployee Wellbeing Seminars\nCPD opportunities\nProfessional memberships paid for (role dependent)\n\nEssential Skills \n\nKey skills and experience:\n\nA relevant degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field.\nProven experience (10+ years) in a senior commercial leadership role, ideally within the health and wellbeing, healthcare, or related industries.\nStrong background in sales, marketing, business development, and financial management.\nExceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.\nExpertise in identifying and capitalizing on emerging market trends and business opportunities.\nExcellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders and partners.\nStrong understanding of the UK health and wellbeing market, including trends, regulations, and customer needs.\n\nAbout us \n\nHCML was established in 2003 and is a leading service provider in the rehabilitation and case management arena.
