Transport Senior Administrator Waverley Court Salary: £29,173 - £33,287 Hours: 36 per week, 52 weeks The Transport Senior Administrator will support the Network Management & Enforcement team, Engineers and Project Managers including the team manager with project delivery. Provide a reliable support service through a variety of formats including telephone, face to face, MS Teams,email. Work proactively to facilitate support to the full range of services and activities. Develop customer relationships (internal and external) to support and maintain a high standard of service delivery. Deliver support to colleagues, third parties and service users within the operating principles for Transport. Work within a team of Transport staff dealing with legislation, project delivery and attention to detail, progressing requests to wider council services where required in sourcing additional information and detail. Handle sensitive and personal information in line with appropriate policies. Use appropriate systems to process service requests or updates for wider council services. In conjunction with Transport staff promote an integrated and consistent Council-wide approach to Transport services supported by the appropriate governance arrangements, processes and legislation. Work with Transport staff and key stakeholders to support new initiatives and the strategic direction of the Council and ensuring that all Transport services are planned in a consistent manner in accordance with the Council's strategic objectives. Identify and evaluate the risks associated with customer contact services and take appropriate action to control / mitigate the risks. The Transport Senior Administrator will support the Transport Officer with the day-to-day tasks. The post will make a range of decisions relating to the provision of Transport services. The post will resolve issues relating to service provision and legislative outcomes. The post will ensure relevant legislation, regulations, policies, procedures and other relevant conditions are applied appropriately. The post will ensure; all relevant details are accurately collated and recorded, locate information required, and provide clear and comprehensive responses which meet the needs of the service area or project. The post determines the most appropriate method of dealing with colleagues and tasks and ensures that task is dealt with appropriately. The post ensures that work is kept up to date and work is prioritised. The post will have shared responsibility for a number of systems and data. The post ensures that all data, records, and systems are kept up to date, ensuring that all relevant details are accurately collated and recorded. This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check.
