The Opportunity
Are you an enthusiastic and experienced hospitality professional ready to support the leadership of our Food & Beverage operations? We’re looking for an Assistant F&B Manager who is passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences and can confidently oversee our restaurant, bar, and room service operations.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Support Operational Excellence: Assist in driving revenue growth, managing budgets, and overseeing labour and payroll within the F&B department.
2. Lead and Inspire: Provide guidance and motivation to our food and beverage team, helping to develop their skills and maintain high standards of service.
3. Enhance Guest Experience: Ensure every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience, contributing to our reputation as a leading F&B destination in the local area.

Ideal Candidate

20. Bring Hands-On Experience: Have a solid background in restaurant, bar, or room service operations, with a strong understanding of day-to-day service delivery and team coordination.
21. Show Leadership Potential: Demonstrate the ability to lead by example, motivate others, and take initiative in driving service standards and team performance.
22. Be Eager to Grow: Ready to take on more responsibility, with a proactive attitude and a desire to develop into a confident and capable manager.
23. Understand the Guest Journey: Passionate about delivering memorable guest experiences, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
24. Be Organised and Reliable: Able to manage time effectively, support scheduling and payroll processes, and contribute to the smooth running of the department.
25. Communicate Clearly: Comfortable engaging with both guests and team members, with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
26. Be Results-Focused: Willing to learn about budgeting and revenue management, and contribute ideas to improve efficiency and profitability.

Hotel

The Glasgow Hotel, part of the Signature Collection by Best Western, seamlessly blends old and new architecture, making it a standout on the Glasgow skyline near the River Clyde, right in the heart of vibrant Glasgow.

Just seconds from junction 19 of the M8, 300 meters from Anderston railway station, and less than a mile from both Glasgow Central and Glasgow Queen Street train stations, the hotel is ideally located.

The hotel features 141 bedrooms, including 16 family rooms and 12 self-catering studio apartments. It also offers six meeting rooms with a capacity for up to 160 delegates, an indoor 15-meter swimming pool, a gym, and beauty treatment rooms
