Robert Half are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Specialist to join a business in North Bristol with a brilliant culture and wider package. This is a fixed term contract for 12 months.
Role: Customer Service Specialist
Duration: 12 months
Start date: October 2025
Salary: £31,000 - £36,500
Working hours: 35 hours. Hybrid working is 3 days in the office, 2 from home
Role responsibilities:
1. Overseeing outstanding balances on agreements - Customers & business accounts
2. Self-managing your day by balancing your customers in between in and outbound calls
3. Discuss payment arrears
4. Understand reasons for overdue payments
5. Answering and resolving queries
6. Negotiating repayment plans with empathy
7. Reconciling agreements and identifying gaps of payment
Skills/experience needed:
8. Strong communication skills - With a great telephone manner
9. Previous experience within credit control/collections/customer service
10. Computer literate
11. High attention to detail
12. Ability to prioritise workload
13. Ability to work well under pressure
