About the Role
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of a high-profile residential development of 288 timber-frame homes in Sileby. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading housebuilder known for quality, sustainability, and innovation in modern methods of construction.
Working closely with the Site Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in the day-to-day management of site operations
2. Coordinate subcontractors and ensure work is completed to programme
3. Maintain high standards of health & safety on site
4. Monitor quality control and ensure compliance with specifications
5. Support with site inspections and audits
6. Help manage materials, logistics, and site resources efficiently
7. Ensure excellent housekeeping standards are maintained
8. Assist in resolving on-site issues quickly and effectively
Requirements
9. Previous experience in a residential construction environment (housebuilding preferred)
10. Knowledge of timber-frame construction (desirable but not essential)
11. Strong understanding of health & safety regulations
12. Excellent organisational and communication skills
13. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
14. Relevant qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND in Construction or similar) advantageous

15. SMSTS or SSSTS
16. CSCS Card
17. First Aid at Work (preferred)
