Due to continued expansion, we are now looking for an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join our team.
This is a full time permanent position based at our Head Office in Doncaster.
Responsibilities
* Measuring and marking out for accurate cutting and drilling
* Assemble and fabricate steel components according to specifications and drawings.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out fabrication tasks.
* Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all Company health and safety requirements
* Collaborate with colleagues to improve processes and enhance productivity.
* Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the fabrication process.
Requirements
* Proficient in MIG welding
* Proven experience in welding and fabrication as well as other processes such as cutting and drilling
* Strong knowledge in engineering with the ability to read and interpret drawings.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to fabrication tasks.
* Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during assembly processes.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills.
* A commitment to maintaining safety standards within the workplace.
Hours of work
08:00 – 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 – 15:30 Friday
25 days holidays plus bank holidays
