£12.21 per hour plus benefits

Hours: Sundays only, 6 hours
Location: Gravesend

Role overview: We’re seeking a motivated retail assistant to join our trading team, acting as an ambassador for Cancer Research UK and taking responsibility for the shop on Sundays.
Key responsibilities:
1. Oversee the shop on Sundays, including keyholder responsibilities (training provided), and support volunteers.
2. Assist in achieving sales and fundraising targets.
3. Review and process donated goods and stock.
4. Generate creative ideas to increase income, with guidance from the Shop Manager.
5. Provide excellent customer service to supporters and shoppers.
6. Maintain shop standards regarding safeguarding, compliance, and health and safety.
7. Perform manual handling and physical activities as required.
Candidate requirements:
* Good customer service skills.
* Experience in lively retail environments.
* Adaptability and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Commercial awareness.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* Flexibility to work on a rota basis, balancing work and personal life.
