About the pub
The Blaina Wharf is a food-led community pub, located in Newport just of the SDR near Newport Town Centre. Inside the pub is well decorated, with vibrant and spacious dining areas. The pub also features a popular carvery deck, as well as offering a full community menu. Outside there is a beautiful, enclosed garden with children’s play area.
The pub currently trades at around £28k a week, with a 50/50 split wet to dry. The Blaina Wharf is known for its great beer garden and a popular weekly quiz – creating further reasons to visit will help to build sales! We are on the hunt for a pub manager with a strong food focus, preferably with proven experience of delivering large cover numbers or in a busy carvery site. Our ideal candidate should be sales focussed and be able to demonstrate a reputation for great guest experience.
Management accommodation is available in the form:
Three bedroomed private quarters, kitchen, bathroom and living room.
