Clinical Negligence Fee Earner / Solicitor
Location: York
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Working pattern: Full-time, with scope for fully remote working after an initial settling-in period with the team
A well-established and reputable law firm is seeking a Clinical Negligence Fee Earner / Solicitor to join its growing team based in York.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a minimum of 12 months’ experience in claimant work. The firm is open-minded on background, so applications are welcomed from those who have handled mainly Personal Injury matters with some exposure to Clinical Negligence, as well as those with more direct Clinical Negligence experience.
The firm will also consider candidates at Solicitor or Paralegal level, provided you have the right experience and a genuine interest in developing your career in this area.
The Role:
You will support and manage a caseload of claimant matters, with a focus on Clinical Negligence, working as part of a supportive and experienced team. This is a great opportunity to build on your existing experience and develop your expertise further.
The ideal candidate will have:
1. A minimum of 12 months’ experience in claimant PI and/or Clinical Negligence work
2. If done mainly PI will need to have had some exposure to Clinical Negligence matters
3. Strong client care and communication skills
4. Good organisational skills and attention to detail
5. A genuine interest in progressing a career in Clinical Negligence
