Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes is recruiting a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for one of our clients in Gainsborough. Our client is a leading manufacturer in the FMCG industry, supplying their products to multiple other manufacturers.
The Role:
As part of the maintenance team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring plant availability and production efficiency through proactive maintenance and swift resolution of technical challenges. Responsibilities include:
Perform planned preventive and reactive maintenance on state-of-the-art machinery
Uphold health and safety standards, conducting risk assessments and implementing effective controls.
Troubleshoot equipment issues, minimize downtime, and contribute to improvement projects.
Maintain detailed records, including PM sheets and system logs, to support seamless operations.
The Candidate:
A strong engineering background (HNC, City & Guilds, or time-served apprenticeship)
Proven experience in maintenance within a manufacturing setting, preferably in food production.
Electrically biased with exposure to hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
A flexible approach and a collaborative, solution-focused mindset.
Familiarity with SAP systems (desirable)
Salary/Benefits
£51,623 including shift allowance.
Matched pension contributions up to 10%.

25 days of leave plus shutdown on Christmas, Boxing Day, and New Years Day.
4-on, 4-off shifts(6 am 6 pm, 2 days, followed by 2 nights)
