A fast-growing company with a long history of training and developing people in both sales and managerial roles, Edmundson is seeking to add entry-level talent to their teams.
The Role
Edmundson Electrical is looking to recruit, train, and develop ambitious graduates based out of any of their 400 independently run profit centres across the UK.
As a Graduate Sales Trainee, you will be educated on the company, their products, and the market they serve. You will receive continuous 'on the job' training and have the opportunity for professional sales training to equip you with the necessary skills for a successful sales career. Progression opportunities include external sales and potentially profit centre management in the future.
* Obtain comprehensive knowledge of the business by training within different functions
* Develop into an external, customer-facing sales role after around 12 months
* Identify and develop new business from new and dormant/lapsed accounts
* Gain thorough product knowledge to effectively promote Edmundson Electrical as a preferred supplier
* Chase leads, influence, negotiate, and generate sales both over the phone and in person
Package for Graduate Commercial Trainee
* £29.25k base salary
* Eligibility for profit share scheme

Requirements
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Full, clean UK driving license
* Strong work ethic, team player, able to work independently
* Availability to work occasional Saturday mornings
* Recent graduate ready for immediate start
Training Timeline
First 6 months: Training in a branch, learning products, procedures, market, customers, and suppliers. Progress through departments, start selling by month 3, and undertake industry-leading sales training.
Next 6-12 months: Achieve sales targets, deepen understanding of the sales process, build relationships, and develop confidence with sales training.
After 12 months: Transition out of trainee role, work towards sales targets, join external sales team, and explore management opportunities for high performers.
