Main Duties & Responsibilities
To provide a technical service to customers, including the maintenance and repair of Print products and Pre and Post Processing equipment. To ensure customers receive a satisfactory service in line with agreed service level agreements.
Provide a technical service for both installation and de-installation of products, ensuring that project milestones for installations and de-installations are achieved efficiently meeting contractual obligations. Ensuring customers are kept up to date on the progress made.
Responsible for the timely escalation of technical problems as specified within Service processes, to ensure the downtime of equipment is kept in a minimum.
To maximise revenue by identifying additional business and professional service opportunities, whilst carrying out day-to-day duties. Ensuring these opportunities are reported through the correct channels.
Responsible to supporting the management of business relationships with customers and end users in order to maximise customer satisfaction.
Management and control of vehicle and account stock, to improve first time fix levels to customers, and to minimise stock losses.
Out of hours and shift working will be required as the business need dictates including weekends and Public Holidays.Role Requirements
Full UK driving licence.
Comfortable working independently in a field-based role.
Previous experience in a Field Technician role, preferably within the Production Print sector
Excellent technical knowledge of the full range of RGC product range
Excellent knowledge of electrical/ mechanical engineering
IT literate.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
