Job Description
As Contract Haulier Manager you will be required to manage all aspects of the Contract Haulier Fleet. This includes onboarding new contract hauliers, ensuring the current contract hauliers are legally compliant, supporting the planning of the fleet, reviewing KPI's to ensure the fleet achieves budgeted revenue coverage and margins. Manage all personnel issues relating to planners within their team.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, hour week)
Key Duties of a Contract Haulier Manager:
Manage all aspects of the Contract Haulier Fleet.
Analyse and report on weekly variances to budget.
Manage contract haulier performance.
Support in managing and controlling contract hauliers to ensure 100% legal compliance.
Manage and control all claims & returns that may arise to reduce the company's liability of losses.
Support in the planning of the contract haulier fleet to ensure budgeted revenue KPIs' are achieved.
Manage all personnel issues relating to planners within their team.
Qualifications
Background and experience in Transport Operations.
Planning experience with a 3PL environment.
Strong commercial awareness.
Experience of managing and supporting a team.
Able to work in a pressurised environment.
Strong communication skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Proficient in MS Packages – Excel, Word etc.
