Poultry Assistant Farm Manager – Free Range Poultry – Kent - £35,000 + Progression
The Job:
Our client is seeking a motivated Assistant Farm Manager to support the daily operations of their free-range poultry farm in Kent. Working closely with the Farm Manager, this role focuses on bird welfare, farm efficiency and team leadership. Responsibilities include managing poultry health and biosecurity, overseeing feed and stock control, supervising staff, monitoring production, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards. Strong communication with suppliers, vets, and stakeholders is essential.
This is a hands-on role for a proactive individual committed to high welfare standards and operational efficiency. With a focus on farm supervision, production monitoring, and compliance, the Assistant Farm Manager will play a key role in optimising performance and supporting the farm’s success.

The Candidate:
- Previous experience in poultry or livestock farming
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Hands-on approach and willingness to work in a farm environment
- Knowledge of biosecurity, health & safety and compliance regulations
- Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- A full UK driving licence (preferred).
The Package:
- Salary £30,000 - £35,000 per annum DOE
