Our client is an established cyber security consultancy, trusted to deliver high-quality offensive security testing to a wide range of organisations. They are expanding their Offensive Security Testing team and are looking for a CTM-qualified Penetration Tester who wants to work on meaningful, real-world engagements.
Role: Penetration Tester (CTM Required) – Offensive Security

What you’ll be doing
5. Delivering penetration tests and vulnerability assessments across networks, infrastructure, and applications
6. Supporting and leading testing engagements alongside experienced senior testers
7. Producing clear, well-structured reports with practical remediation advice
8. Using and developing skills with tools such as Metasploit and Burp Suite
9. Keeping up to date with emerging tools, techniques, and attack methods
10. Collaborating with consultancy and SOC teams, with opportunities to progress into threat hunting
What you must have
11. CHECK Team Member (CTM) status is essential
12. At least 6 months of hands-on penetration testing experience
13. Strong written and verbal communication skills
14. Experience working with networks and Windows, Linux, and macOS environments
15. Eligibility for UK Security Clearance
16. A proactive mindset and strong team ethic
Desirable experience
17. Web and mobile application testing
18. Cloud technologies including M, Azure, and Sentinel
19. IoT and SCADA environments
20. SOC or security operations exposure
21. OSCP, CRT, Cyber Scheme, or Cyber Essentials Plus Lead Assessor

22. Occasional out-of-hours work based on client requirements
23. Periodic travel to client sites and support for SOC activities
