Community Staff nurses work within a Health Visiting team across locally defined areas and support the service across HMR, providing a safe service for all preschool children and their families.
The post holder will be based within a team of Health Visitors and skill-mix staff, offering universal and enhanced Health Visiting services to children and families from diverse cultural backgrounds. You will have the opportunity to develop skills in public health, child development, and multi-agency working, focusing on the diverse communities within HMR.
You should have the ability and willingness to contribute effectively to the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme, along with evidence of recent professional development and an understanding of Community Practice and Public Health issues.
There is a robust preceptorship and induction programme, and you will be supported in your development through line management, My Time appraisals, and supervision.
