Project Manager Fit Out Projects Up to £70,000 Package My client, who are a national construction contractor who are currently recruiting for an Project Manager to head up several new projects that they have won in West London. The Role; Within this role, you will work along side the Project manager ensuring P&L, budgets and deadlines are adhered too. You would be responsible for ensuring the level of service and quality is to the highest standard as well as cost control, creating CPP & programming of works and budgeting. Implement strong H&S across all projects. Your direct team will include site management, supervisors and sub - contractors. You will report directly in to the Operations Director who will support you in making the contract a success. The Candidate; The ideal candidate will have extensive building knowledge and experience managing fit out projects to listed buildings and public buildings Experience managing multiple site teams, strategically planning projects and an ability to problem solve in complex situations. A good knowledge of up to date legislations and strong organisational skills is also desired. Having an ability to create a strong working environment, where everyone is working as a team to achieve targets and goals on the contract, as well as being able to build strong relationships with the client and your team members. They would look at an experienced Project Manager or a strong Senior Site Manager ready to make a step up. You must also have the following; Experience in managing refurbishment projects on listed buildings, public buildings, schools and other commercial properties IT skills are essential and you must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Outlook and Word Full UK Driving Licence Building or refurbishment related qualification of demonstrable experience. Health and Safety qualification required such as IOSH, NEBOSH, SMSTS etc Level 3 Leadership & Management Qualification or equivalent or willingness to work towards Experience of managing teams of contractors Valid CSCS card (preferrable) The ideal candidate will ideally have a minimum of 10 years' experience within the construction industry Be technically minded.
