About You
To apply for this post, you must:
* Work as part of an integrated team to provide a range of home/centre-based family support interventions that contribute to improved outcomes for children, young people, and families.
* Support families and young people regarding issues of housing, benefits, education, employment, and independence skills.
* Be accountable for direct work with children and families using a strength and trauma-informed practice approach.
* Advise and guide parents and young people in managing household affairs, childcare tasks, and providing for children, including flexible work patterns such as early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
* Contribute to safeguarding assessments, plans, and report observations related to the standards of care provided by parents, and collaborate with social workers and Support and Assessment Workers.
* Supervise and monitor contact when part of the child's plan.
