Were looking for a driven Sales Development Representative to join a fast‑growing packaging business. In this role, youll focus on generating new business opportunities, winning new accounts, and developing long‑term relationships with existing customers across our innovative product range.


Key Responsibilities

* Identify, research, and proactively approach new B2B clients through outbound calls, email campaigns, networking, and online channels.
* Manage and grow a pipeline of prospects, following up on leads and converting opportunities into new accounts.
* Develop strong, long‑term relationships with existing and lapsed customers, driving account growth through upselling and cross‑selling.
* Collaborate with marketing partners to support lead generation campaigns and ensure alignment between sales and marketing activity.
* Analyse competitor activity and market trends to continually refine sales strategies.
* Deliver regular performance reports on pipeline, conversion, and account development.
* Represent the business with professionalism, delivering excellent client communication and customer service.


Ideal Candidate Profile

* Proven track record in B2B sales, business development, or account management (manufacturing, packaging, or product‑led sectors a plus, but not essential).
* Confident communicator with excellent relationship‑building skills.
* Highly proactive and organised, with experience in prospecting, lead generation, and CRM systems.
* Commercially minded, target‑driven, and motivated by achieving results.
* Able to work independently while being a strong team player.


Key Metrics for Success

* New account wins and increased customer acquisition.
* Consistent outreach and lead generation activity each week.
* Growth of revenue within existing and lapsed accounts.
* Achievement of annual sales growth and conversion KPIs.


Working Hours & Location

* Full‑Time: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
* Office based in Altrincham, with local client visits.
* Competitive salary dependent on experience, plus performance incentives.
