A welcoming secondary school in Bradford is looking for a Cover Supervisor to join their team this September. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive environment where staff work together and students are encouraged to succeed.
From keeping lessons on track to building positive relationships with students, this role is about far more than handing out worksheets. It's about creating a calm, engaging environment where learning can continue and young people can thrive
Supervising lessons across a range of subjects using pre-prepared materials
Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
Encouraging participation, confidence and engagement
Supporting students to complete tasks and remain focused
Recording attendance and reporting any concerns to teaching staff
Upholding safeguarding procedures and school expectations at all times
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Confidence managing groups of young people
A calm, proactive and adaptable approach
Excellent organisational and behaviour management skills
Experience working with children or young people is desirable, but not essential
Someone who brings positivity and enthusiasm to the classroom ✨
