Shift Production Manager£55,000 DOEOur client is a leading manufacturing company with a target turnover of over £40M this year. They are on a mission to exceed there customers' demands and deliver high-quality bespoke products. There manufacturing processes demand a responsive and flexible approach to planning.As the Shift Production Manager, you will play a key role in delivering a 3-year strategic plan while overseeing day-to-day production operations. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will provide leadership, management, and direction to the Team Leaders. Key responsibilities Your primary responsibility is to drive operational delivery and quality, ensuring production activities consistently meet performance targets and adhere to the highest standards Ability to manage risk, present solutions, think outside the box with a can-do attitudeYou will be accountable for Safety, Quality, People, and Cost (SQPC) throughout your shift and responsible for the overall site environment, including the facility infrastructureDevelop and implement detailed production schedules to meet customer demands and improve manufacturing efficiency while adhering to lean manufacturing principles.Work with procurement to ensure prompt availability of raw materials and components.Deliver and meet KPI targers Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Extensive manufacturing experienceFamiliarity with lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other CI methodologies. Ability to find bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and enhance overall efficiency..People management experienceSystems and Software: Ability in using production planning software (MRP systems, ERP platforms).
