We are proud to be working with an outstanding specialist SEN school in Ware, supporting students aged 11 to 16. The school provides a warm, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where every child is encouraged to succeed both academically and personally.

Your Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
* Support pupils to make meaningful academic, social, and emotional progress.
* Provide regular, constructive assessment and feedback in line with school policy.
* Promote positive behaviour through a calm, consistent, and nurturing approach.
* Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
* Contribute actively to the wider life of the school, including activities and events.
* Work flexibly across school sites or outreach settings (own vehicle required to transport pupils when necessary).

About You
* Qualified teacher with a recognised UK teaching certification.
* GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent.
* Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and ICT skills.
* Calm, patient, and compassionate approach to teaching.
* Strong commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding.

* An Enhanced DBS check (registered on the Update Service – assistance available).
* Two professional references covering the past 24 months.
* An Overseas Police Check if applicable (for candidates who have lived outside the UK for more than 6 months in the last 5 years).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
