Main Duties and Responsibilities: Contact potential and current customers over the phone to promote and sell products/services Follow up with customers who have expressed interest in company's products/services Answer questions about products and/or the company Understand customer requirements Assist with orders. Provide excellent customer service to all customers Update and maintain customer information in the company's database Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information Responsible and accountable for your sales performance Go the 'extra mile' to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales Meet and exceed sales targets consistently The Ideal Candidate: Proven experience as telesales representative or other sales/customer service role Sales orientated team player with a strong confident phone manner Cold calling ability with excellent listening and communication skills Confident and assertive with energy and enthusiasm Resilient with the ability to thrive in a target driven environment Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects Flexible attitude and willingness to learn Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints Knowledge of sales techniques and principles is important Strong customer service skills Proficient command of English, both written and verbal Work well under pressure, self-motivated and ability to work to targets and deadlines with minimal supervision Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to liaise with all departments Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of Microsoft Office (outlook, word, excel), with the confidence and ability to be trained on in-house systems
