The Gables in Hagley, near Stourbridge is a luxury 61 bedded residential and dementia care home.
We have opportunities for Day Care Assistants to join our care team on a full time basis of 42 hours per week. This will be on a rolling rota basis and the hours of work will be 8am – 8pm and will include working alternate weekends.
Responsibilities
* Join the care team on a full-time basis of 42 hours per week, on a rolling rota with hours 8am–8pm and alternate weekends.
* Support residents with dignity, choice, independence and individual needs as part of a close-knit team.

Person Specification
* Physically and medically able to carry out duties and responsibilities with or without assistive aids
* NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualifications; if not, willingness to attend
* Team player, self-motivated, proactive, flexible and adaptable
* Ability to organise and prioritise workload and work under pressure
* Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
