Engineer Surveyor – Crane & Lifting Equipment
Salary: Basic from £41,600, Company Car, Benefits
Location: Wigan, Lancashire
A growing organization is currently looking for an Engineer Surveyor to cover the West Lancashire area, inspecting crane and lifting equipment. Working Monday to Friday with flexible hours, you will visit client sites to ensure all equipment complies with Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.
Skills required for an Engineer Surveyor (Crane & Lifting Equipment):
1. Ideally hold an NVQ Level 4 or equivalent engineering qualification. However, candidates with a minimum NVQ Level 3 and inspection experience, or currently working as an Engineer Surveyor, will also be considered.
2. Hands-on experience in maintaining, servicing, repairing, or working with various crane, lift, or lifting equipment.
3. Knowledge and understanding of LOLER & PUWER regulations.
4. Ability to work unsupervised and make decisions regarding equipment condition and future use.
5. Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
6. Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to influence customers.
7. Must reside in or around the Wigan / West Lancashire area.
