Starship Technologies is revolutionizing deliveries with autonomous robots. These robots are designed to deliver food, groceries, and packages across college campuses and neighborhoods in minutes. Starship has now completed millions of autonomous deliveries to date, traveled millions of miles, and is currently doing more than 140k road crossings each day. As a Field Assistant, you will join our Operations team and play an essential part in our mission to provide the world with affordable and environment-friendly deliveries. In this position, you will play a key role in supporting and maintaining the health of our global fleet of robots. This is a hybrid role that will involve cleaning and re-deploying robots at our partner’s locations in and around Milton Keynes, as well as supporting operational and maintenance activities in the Milton Keynes hub. The role will also contain learning technical aspects of the robot and carrying out maintenance work. The salary for this position is 13£/hour. It is initially a 6-month contract position with part-time hours (20 hours per week, 3 working days during weekdays), with a potential for workload increase in the future. Your main responsibilities are: Daily cleaning of the robots at each of our partner locations, in line with Food Hygiene Standards. Deploying and picking up robots to and from our commercial partner’s sites in Milton Keynes and surrounding areas. Supporting and maintaining the health of our global fleet of robots. Updating tracking spreadsheets and dashboard used in day-to-day operations. Carrying out routine maintenance tasks and audit checklists at stores.
